The Canjet.

This is the one that blew up my tw account. Here is its more or less summarized page.

Construction

The main body is a Campbells® Hearty Beef Stew™ can.

The compressor is stamped (mashed with a hammer) sheet metal aquired from Home Depot.

Fuel System

The fuel was supplied by a coil of 1/4" copper refridgerator tube with pinholes poked in it. Both propane and MAPP were tried, MAPP seemed to run a little better and was the sole fuel for later tests.

Ignition

Ignition was maintained by internal baffles (also sheet metal) to prevent flame out, and was constantly sparked from a lawnmower spark plug, driven by one of those cheap amazon 3kv supplies.
